  1. LMAO…. You said "soul soil" going into the Nether… As you were digging up soul sand I was saying "Not sad, Gem… Soil… You need soul soil!" Unfortunately…. You couldn't hear me, so I wasn't much help.

  3. I was so confused at first! Like, the new season is a year in and I know I've watched more than 4 episodes of Gem! I forgot you do Hardcore Minecraft and now I feel just silly.

  4. The spider farms also kinda fit the lord or story of this village though. Since there are a couple β€œspider dens” the village can also make textiles from farming spiders. This in addition to the wool farmed from sheep makes a perfect textile based export. Maybe the villagers have made a spider silk wool textile that is a perfect combination of the two materials. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
This is such a good series idea. It’s been very enjoyable to watch. πŸ‘

  6. A comment about how to make the sheep farms a little more realistic (optional):

Sheep typically graze on large amounts of land, especially in cold areas where the grass may not grow back as fast. To counter this, more land is needed to feed the sheep when compared to lush green fields. Also, sheep are typically rotated from pasture to pasture when the grass is trimmed.

To translate this into Minecraft terms, make the sheep pen bigger again and have it sprawling across that section of land with gates and walls dividing up the pastures.

It will also have the benefit of allowing you to collect wool quite quickly, as you can sheer them, let them eat all the grass then sheer them again and move them to the next field, repeating until the required amount of wool has been obtained.

  8. 24:44 zombie can be in A tier for a couple reasons gem

1: if your lucky you can find a couple zombies spawners in range for a double farm (of course this applies to any other spawner like spider or skeleton)

2: this is the main reason but it's a good early source of copper if you convert the zombies into drowned. now they wont spawn with tridents or nautilus shells but they will drop copper

  9. I recently made a silverfish farm in my own world and it's honestly the best xp-only farm I've ever made (never taken the time to try a gold or enderman farm). The only downside is the number of infestation potions you need…well, that and having to trap allays.

  10. What if in the lore, you had the sheep and cauldron villagers living together, and in their home there’s a little ladder / basement that they use to get in and out of that area and can act as a secret tunnel / escape for the royal castle area through the mineshaft and get the family outside the walls when there’s a raid!

  11. With the sweet berries, mud, and hoppers, you can turn your spider killing chamber into a passive string and eyes farm. Spider farms (if you don't have a general mob farm) are useful for string and eyes, and eyes are now more useful for early game with armadillos.
