Features I would love to see in Minecraft 1.17

Minecraft 1.17: Caves and Cliffs is a HUGE new Minecraft update with a bunch of exciting new Minecraft features, including the Warden, sculk sensors, Minecraft cave update, Dripstone and more. In this video I wanted to go over some of the features that are currently available in the latest Minecraft Snapshot (Snapshot 20w51a) and talk about how I personally would improve them.

  1. A lot of people commenting as if honeycomb and honey are millions of miles apart from one another and the fact that I even suggested they were similar means I’m stupid…

I am stupid yes, but not on this!! I said it was a stretch association. I just want more sticky blocks.

ALSO: waterlogged Sculk sensors are silent not deafened. They still work, just the player does not hear them.

  2. I think that there is potential probably not in 1.17, but in the future to make more uses for copper and the amethyst crystals by making some new redstone components that incorporate copper and amethyst into the crafting recipe.

  3. I think the tuff pistons are a great suggestion but being much better than normal pistons, tuff should spawn in much smaller groups. This would mean that pistons would still be very much largely used but a better alternative is there if the player is willing to earn it

  4. Very Useful Archeology Idea
I think that there could be some short of a Rare Artifact that can only be found when you brush thru in the (Dig Sites) But When you then make a pot with that Special and rare artifact/put it on the pot, then it makes You Able to retract half of your Xp, or all of your Xp so that you can then have a way to Store Xp Somehow, maybe with some kind of transition, But that would both make the Archeology DigSties very Useful, (so its Not just going to be something that’s "not to Exiting”) But also it’s going to Make you have a more Useful reason for going out to find one of them because if you don’t want to Lose all your Xp when you die, You can then Store all your Ep In it Somehow so that You dont lose all of it because every time you die in Minecraft, the worst part is when you lose all of your hard earned Ep, and then ONLY gets 3-5 Ep Back, but depending on how many you had anyway (But to make it balanced), it could be that if you Store All your Ep, it could then only take away -2 levels of Xp so that – Its Useful, But then also Not to Overpowered. But it’s Not to Overpowered to Begin with because you can still forget to Store your Ep if You think that you may die if your doing a Huge project or something, But also you can think "well alright I might die if I fight the wither or while building this huge tower" so I think being able to have a chance, or a way to store your Xp in that way Somehow is going to really be very Useful and Nice at the same time, but just minus a couple of levels of Xp so that you have to still get back atleast 1-2 0r 2-3 levels (And I think it could be a very useful Because, now in Minecraft THEREs Not really a way to store your Xp before you die, because if you die, You lose almost all of it, or if you had about 25 Levels or 30, You Would Only get about 7-8 levels back, but with the Storing of Xp, You would Only lose about 1-2 Xp OR NOT ANY AT ALL, So I think People would Love a way to Store Xp that they used so much grinding time to get, and not Just like Lose them when you accidentally get blown up by a creeper, Because if you die and that happens for example, than you literally Got to grind again just to Gary your levels back, "and maybe that’s kind of a good thing" but it’s still pretty frustrating. And maybe there could also be Some short of New system with it or anything to maybe make it Better But it’s an Good idea so 👍

  5. I would like a redstone clock. Basically a repeater but as long as it's powered it sends a pulse every 1-4 game ticks and can be chained to have longer delay between each pulse. Rip hopper clocks

  6. I think for your suggestion of making it easy to see what sound make certain frequencies, the noise that travels should just be different colours

Like for example it starts off green and gets more red with higher frequencies
