Minecraft is one of the biggest multiplayer games in history with millions of people playing daily. And because of that the minecraft community has made numerous small gamemodes that are collectivley known as minigames. So these are 7 minigames that were once famous but now have become forgotten.

  1. One game I still miss is Dwarves vs. Zombies, OldManWillaker's infection variant. The dwarves would build up defenses, around three "shrines", then a few of them would be randomly picked to be the first monsters, and attack the dwarves with a lot of fast AI allies. A few players would also randomly be picked to be heroes, who had various special powers to boost the other dwarves.

    The monsters were much weaker than the dwarves, but would of course respawn when they died, and they also had an XP system so they would get more powerful over time. The game was designed so that the shrines would inevitably fall one by one, and monsters always won eventually, the question was how long you could stay alive.

  2. I loved the castle siege minigame on mineplex so much, as well as so many others mentioned in this video, Hypixel had a infected game mode for their murder mystery minigame back in 2020 I believe.
