I feel like the biomes around my base generated weird. I built a base at my spawn point, which was in a plains biome. Right next to a mountain/extreme hill biome on one side and a swamp on the other. And when I go through the swamp, right on the other side is all snow with some icebergs 🤣 I haven’t explored much of my world because I wanted it’s to generate as much 1.18 stuff as possible. So I’m assuming that’s why it generated like that. I’m hoping when I explore more, placement of the biomes will make more sense than they do at my base LOL

I love how much easier emerald is to find now, I've found more emeralds naturally in one day than I have in 2 years
started a new world yesterday, 1.18 is like a radically different game than 1.17, it's very very hard to get iron without dying
so many spawners, so many mobs, can't strip mine without falling into a cave and getting swarmed by creepers, it's amazing but getting started is very hard
There are actually crack caves. They are cracks in the ground. Found commonly.

I started a new world today and before I even got into a cave I was so happy with how the overall world generation looked
Once I did get into a cave, I nearly died due to its depth 😣 but I love the huge deepslate cave systems! I haven't found a lush cave yet but I'm exicted to

What happened to the warden coming in 1.18?
I like to play minecraft in peaceful survival mode and gather all the materials to make my diffrent colors for my dye to color all my sheep. I cant find the blue orchid flower that is located in the swamp biome. Since the new update everything is mountainous and no swamps. I'm kinda bummed out. 😥

I wish salmon could spawn above 64. Salmon are known for swimming up rivers, so finding ponds and water features with the rare salmon would be awesome.
