I know there have been some people complain about the Minecraft updates, but I have realized over the years that mojang has its waves of up and down, and me are unfortunately in the down wave, but I think in about 1-6 years Minecraft might get its redemption. A kid can hope, right?

Would be neat if the rascal was like some sort of guide for the caves. Like maybe to the unusual biomes? Or even particular biomes, like the deep dark. A friendly creature that either guides u or helps u reach food or wood if ur almost empty.

1.22 – Hot update (updates desert, savannah, mesa. Adds Volcanoes, hot springs)
1.23 – Cold Update (updates Forests in general, snowy stuff. Adds Maple forests and other colder biomes)

Ik many people are saying we already got a cave update, but tbh exploring caves is one of my fav things to do in minecraft especially since that update (the generation is so beautiful plz) that I would absolutely adore anything added to caves. More crystals? Yes. More underground biomes? Absolutely. But I’m just a casual player, so honestly anything they add I’m happy with! I’m still exploring all the new content from previous updates.

Since the tricky trials update was more combat focused, I feel like the next update will do a 180 and be more of a causal chill update. A farming update would be PERFECT for this.
I hope they update strongholds and mineshafts, it would be cool if you could ride mineshafts and they had powered rails and carts you can hop on and ride with a bit of risk you get sent underwater and drown or fall off the rails into lava
i kinda feel like 1.22 will do something with the nether, the nether updates intentions from what I got were to make the nether as fleshed out as the overworld, and the devs talked about expanding the nether in the future. maybe a nether cave update paired with increased height and 3d biome generation could put it on par with the overworld?
I honestly don't care if we get a cave update part 6, I'll probably just stick with my modpack. But I really want to see if Mojang sticks to their word about the backlog mobs not being lost to the void.

My fantasy is that the portal in the ancient cities take you to a different time. From a game programming perspective it would be a different dimension, but in-game it would be like the overworld before…something? Before the piglins started leaving their stinky portals all over the place?
I would prefer a farking update over a cave or desert update. And also, why do people want an end update? I like the end we have now because it's empty and that makes it unique.

my hope for 1.22 would be a Beastly Update that adds more hostile mobs (and some friendly ones) and fleshes out existing mobs that have only one purpose

1.22 has to be end surely… The potato update could have been testing for it and Caves and Cliffs was the overworld, Nether Update self explanitory, All that's left is the end.
