Good to see they're still working on improving worm tunnels. Always a good place to bunker down in over night while travelling. It'd be really fun if they would surprise you with a warden or something. Like a bear hiding in the cave. That would be neat.

It's really looking beautiful compared to what we're getting now. I hope Mojang doesn't give up on this. The cave updates were amazing, but those biomes are just gorgeous.

So I guess 40-40 will now let you fly infinitely, which is crazy to think about. I barely use rockets anyways – trident with riptide and a water source (or rain) is all I need to take off from most situations.

idk if this was a change from an earlier snapshot, but between the two villages you flew past… all the houses were built on actual, flat, full plots of land. So no more houses on a cliff with cobblestone descending to the void.

Eh, I'm fine with the change. If you're using Elytra heavy, you're endgame so you should be able to make farms for paper/gunpowder.
