This simple villager breeder should work in Minecraft 1.18 and 1.19 and works on Minecraft java edition, window 10 edition, ps4, Nintendo switch, MCPE, Xbox. This also works on Minecraft 1.16 as well. This easy tutorial will teach you how villager breeding works and show you a working design.

it does not work in 1.18. they donnot see the beds. so no baby

the villigers wont bread anyone knows why?
I built this farm and instead of building the collection part I just dug the hole down and into my current villager room but every time the villagers are about to breed the hearts show up but then suddenly these grey broken heart things and they don't bread do you know why this is happening?
I know I’m 5 months late but if you sleep in the world will the farm still work since well if I sleep won’t the villagers not sleep if that makes sense.
is there a way I can pause the production without killing one?
Does one of them need to be unemployed for them to breed? Or can both be farmers?

villager doesn't pick up my seeds, ive traded once with him
To anyone who is having problems with the golems spawning on top of the slabs (usually on paper servers that have "golem spawning in air" set to true), cover the top surface of the slabs with two layers of carpet. This will prevent the golems from spawning there.
doesn't work, they don't claim the beds…
Both of my villagers are farmers i keep trying to get one to a diff profession but he just becomes a farmer again when i place the composter. The one that i traded with doesnt plant teh seeds but the other one does. (1.18 btw)

my villagers grow up but do not float up to the collector I built it the way you showed but 2 went up and 3 are just stay at the bottom under the water

the villagers bred for like the first day and then stopped, now they just get angry at the last moment when they breed even though there are no villagers in a 200 block radius

You are adding like 2-3 of those water+shield layers, before pushing them to the side.

I'm having an issue where the minecart isn't picking up a villager on it's way through. It was working and just stopped. I killed all the entities in the tube to reset it, but I'm getting the same issue.

wont there only be 4 villagers – 2 breeders and 2 babies because villagers need an extra bed before they breed.
