  1. I was testing it out recently, I had a Breach 4 mace and a Density 5 and the breach is weaker when it comes to falling. Density took 9 1/2 blocks but Breach from the same height still had the player on like 2 1/2 hearts (full prot 4 netherite)

  2. The breach enchantment has a single use in single player, and it’s armored mobs in trial chambers (ominous ones), you won’t need to go so high up to one hit kill an enemy with armor.

But this is incredibly niche vs every other enemy encounter being un-armored mobs, which is fine. The single player vs multi player centric enchantments are a decent way to balance out damage, even if boring.

They could make both useful for both modes which would be more interesting, but this way still (having 1 be better for single player and the other better for MP) works in making both useful.

  3. I think it's worth having 2 maces, one with wind burst and one with breaching or density so you can start with the wind burst to chain your attacks and then finish with the second mace to land safely

  4. Heres the thing. 3 hits for a ground level mace IS really good.

Although the way i see it, breach has always been a way to justify the mace's position in PVP, and you should just use density for survival

  5. calling it right now, people are ONLY going to try use the mace in survival because of 1st week hype or achievements, before realising its a next to useless gimmick weapon thats way too annoying to obtain and even less practical to use over a sword

  6. i'm just glad mojang is taking the pvp aspect of the mace into account. they could've easily tunnel visioned on making it super gimmicky, which it kinda is, but it also has at least some use in pvp
