Deep slate instead of black stone would be a good way to add them. I like the idea of different villages in new biomes like the white wood with the deep slate would be cool but instead of regular villagers they are weird and removing the for to long from the new area they will become normal
they could add a new material made from clay so they can still do japanese style architecture for it. Also, the complication thing is arguable to me, compare a japanese house from similar time period to a mideival european house, usually much more intricate.
I feel like it might work if they changed the placement of the cherry blossom biome just a tad because,if we move the biome next to a mangrove biome it could work especially since were mangrove biomes are they are also near dark oak forest and the materials that would give more contrast would be emdindently available
I think it would be interesting to give new designs instead of make a pink village it would actually fit the forest
And I think it would be interesting if they did this with the creaking forest I forgot what its called
Another cool village would be a dead ghost village that carry’s a curse but really good item at the end of it they can use some mobs already in the game like the vex
Oh and adding fog to that forest would be cool and as you get closer to the abandoned village the fog gets thicker and thicker
shit take, logically speaking anything a player can build a villager should be able to build. with the exception that villagers materials are limited to overworld materials.
I have bad taste but cherry logs and birch seem like they would look good. I always have birch or avoid birch trees even tho they're everywhere cause I'm not a fan of birch
Well the current MC theory is the ancient builder theory (see gametheory) as they built the villages and they have been virtualy untouched since they reached the end i agree with there not being blocks from the nether or going full japanese castle as that wouldnt make as much sense however deepslate could substitute blackstone 😊so if done correctly it could work with the lore make sense and look good at the same time (also who doesnt want more chance to find a blacksmith?)
Do you agree, or am I just crazy? Should we have Cherry Grove villages?

Also, in my bedrock experience, cherry groves are really small, and I feel a village would eat up most of the biome
I think it's fine for a custom build but idk
I think they should still use the oak village block pallete but have different shaped houses

“no villager is getting blackstone from the nether” ⁉️ then how do they have brewing stands
They could do like a long house or those southern Chinese circular house something entirely different with a cherry village.

I feel like abandoned villages should have a higher chance of spawning in the pale garden
I want a dark oak and birch village still they have so much potential
Villages won't get an update, they've given up adding good things back in 2018

I woukd kill for pink houses. It's my favorite color
Savana villages use terracotta so maybe terracotta for the red and white and deepslate bricks instead of black stone could work
Finally someone who gets it
What i do want is Mushroom Villiages
Cherry villages would be Japanese inspired
I love making cherry houses, and ill have to make that japan inspired house in my cherry town
