what do you think about stone chests that you'd need to slide open slowly to loot?!? Awesome right?!
the only reason the bundle isn't the game is because they haven't figured out a way for it to work with touch controls
I think the introduction of the clay pots to archeology in the future would also open the doors to something like a kiln, a special furnace that is used for stone and glass. We already have the smoker and the blast furnace, I think this is the only thing that is left. It can also be an alternative workstation to a stonecutter, so that it keeps to the theme of being a villager workstation without needing to add a new villager profession.
Good the data pack
A cooler way a cave could indicate an ancient city were if there were large murals carved in the stone wall showing efforts builders made to live with the warden. This would've been a cooler indicator along with to the fossils rather than bland sculk growths scattered around the deep dark

i wish we would get either bundles(i was playing with them using a datapack to make them craftable againf for ages now) or different ancient city storage containers
it can be cool if the sculk trap is not removed because of the svulk shreiker but it can be cool in the game like when you step in I the sculk shrieker will activate
red button: add everything that the community wants
blue button: add everything the community hates
mojang: presses the blue button without a heart

the deep dark will have more fun and thrill if sculk jaw wasn't cancelled and the screaming vase/pot could be another way to trigger the warden without the shriekers. a risk for a loot is an amazing concept and traps like sculk jaw in general is way more fun
So… In other words, Mojang has great ideas But very few of them actually make it to Minecraft. And I feel like the wild update is showing (even more than others) just how much their slow, conservative approach is making players angry. Marketing, huh? Too many promises (aka baits) and hype from almost everyone in the industry just to underdeliver (like that Cyberpunk business…)

So I always thought that there should always be some of the cool changes left off the change notes so that players can discover things and get excited about finding something new.
I gave myself the bundle before 1.18 (I even made a rabbit farm before its release). I have not used it, but it would really help in the ancient city as placing shulkers cause noise.
When preview of 1.17 came out I was excited for archeology and the bundle….

Some sort of inventory expansion, for sure. There are so many blocks in the game anymore that you can't even finish a whole build anymore without having a nearby chest monster.
Fireflies. When they were announced I made a sanctuary for fireflies and possibly frogs too. But then then were cut and I hade a frog dome. ๐
Yesterday night I had a dream that the Warden was chasing me lol
