  2. Little odd that Asmon would belittle Minecraft speed runs when they're extremely similar to WoW's world first guild clear's of new dungeons….And I don't recall him belittling that group (unless he has, and I somehow missed it).

  3. It's funny how the mod magically was about RNG and how it magically was installed on his computer, come on dood a 10 year old can make better lies than that…

  4. I know nothing of Dream or the MC speedrun community. However there are always two sides to a story, two sides of a coin. Admitting the run was not legit is a big step. On the other hand this could have been a mistake. MC is a game with millions of mods, customization etc. It could have been a simple oversight on his part. Regardless its insane to me how both sides of the community are so toxic over a damn childrens voxel game.

  5. People need to learn to put themselves in situations before hating. Only about 0.1% of people would go instantly to test every possible way they might have cheated when they never intended to

  6. I personally only watched 1 dream video ever, I don’t hate the guy, I don’t love the guy, I don’t know him, I’m a strong believer in that “most” people live and they learn, no matter the severity of the situation. I can almost confidently guarantee you that this will sit with dream for many many years and it will be a stain on him forever, this will teach him to not lash out and he’ll be more careful, but that’s Dream. The other people (including dream aswell) went through a horde of prepubescent children that attacked all parties involved, some cases being more severe than others, but then again, people will move on, and so should everyone else that are bystanders here witnessing all of this, there’s no reason to hate someone you’ll never know or meet with such passion as some of you have, for mistakes that happened in Minecraft, I get people are passionate about speedruns and the Minecraft community, but it’s been dealt with, I’m not saying what dream did wasn’t inconsiderate, but he will learn from this, and the people involved will recover, so just let this whole thing die, he’s already paid the price for lashing out, being the laughing stock and a big meme, be nice to each other and treat others the way you want to be treated 🙂

  7. I mean he has a point. The mods only went after him because he is a famous youtuber and they don't like him. His run hadn't in any way a good time, not even competitive and if anybody else would have done it, it would have went under the radar.

  8. I guess it's possible, if he had a third party making mods, that he didn't realize the spawn rate was slightly off. In the end, he completely apologized and accepts the scrutiny being retroactively applied to his content. I don't really know what else he could do. People want their villains to stay villains to justify their hatred, kind of like how he couldn't believe he was wrong?

  9. It’s only matters because Dream is a professional, and quite possibly the biggest name in gaming right now. It’s easy to blow it all off and say “ it’s a stupid kids game, who cares?” But this is a guy making literally millions of dollars, and has a reach of tens of millions of people. He shouldn’t just get a pass for not only cheating, but putting out a bogus “scientific” paper to take advantage of those in his fan base that don’t have a grasp of statistics and probability (the vast majority.) Now he comes out with a bs apology that is just as obviously untrue as his fake runs. I’m not trying to say that Dream should be cancelled, but he shouldn’t stop taking heat until he simply owns up to what he did.
