The parrot thing was quite literally just for fun
he explained on his second channel he thought it would be really cool to win with a parrot with him or on his back just for decoration when or if he won basically.

Dream said in a stream that he got the parrot for a meme and also because it would look really sick if he killed the ender dragon with a parrot on his shoulder dancing on the hunter's dead bodies.
George spawned next to the obsidian most likely because that's probably where they had put a bed but of course it got blown up so that's probably it

He even said there that if the parrot is still alive when he win that would be an epic win.
The reason why dream tamed the parrot was revealed on yesterdays stream, he said if he could bet the game with a parrot still alive it would assert his dominance to the hunters for a possible future manhunt.

I thought he would use the parrot so that he can trick the hunters that theirs a zombie / creeper near bye while he would be hiding a sort of temp scare and mabye the taming it self was to trick the hunters he had a dog

Why dont the hunters just throw their blaze rods into lava?
The parrot could have been there as he had a name tag
Dream could have called the parrot Dream and burn it in lava to distract the hunters as they would think he died

I think I can explain the “ghost gogy”
When you respawn (atleast in bedrock) for a few frames you can see the person standing near, or on the block they died at, I think the reason for this is that if your far away enough, teleporting you to your last spawn point could take time, as it has to load chunks.
I’m probably wrong but that’s my reasoning
