Gold is a soft creature/being that's an everywhere kind of creature/being, tech wiz and all that (cause gold is in a lot of tech) while amethyst is the tougher gothic vibe creature/being that has a very see through personality (cause of amethyst glass).
Used creature/being because it doesnt make sense to give a gender to an ore and should make it more fitting for anyone to interpret it.

Here's what I ended up experiencing with Minecraft: I love shaders. They're f'ing awesome. But I once tried using some of those 32x and 64x texture packs to elevate my experience and it just… Stopped being Minecraft. I think the reason shaders are awesome to me is they add realistic sky and shadows and bloom and whatnot while still keeping the original charm. It would blow kid me's mind.
