  1. My Mac barely feels any performance improvements they tried to implement.
    If anything, I think it runs the same as before (which I'd actually impressive due to how much more there is now per chunk), but when I can get a couple of mods like sodium and make the game run 100% better, it makes me question any 'performance' updates they do, since there is a mod that has been there for quite a few versions with multiple ways to make the game run better and it keeps improving.

    Like…bruh.
    I can basically only play with 30fps at 24 render distance and shadows at like 8 or 12 with entities at 50%.
    .-.
    All this with 6GB or ram.
    Oh and this is while using fullscreen at 720p resolution.
    If I raised it any higher, it would go below 30fps.

    So, yeah. I blame 50% my Mac and the other 50% to Minecraft not being as optimized as it could be. 🤷🏻‍♂️
