I'll save you the trouble. You can't do the white room prank on bedrock. If an item frame is placed on the bottom block of a wall, you can't put one on the floor next to it, so it just doesn't work. Same for the top block and the ceiling. I tried using concrete, but light doesn't go through it so it's not the same colour.
