Henwy so new potions work weird if you throw a potion up you get the full time but if you throw it at your feet 1 – 2 min are gone

I use the nether portal(the thing when u light up the obsidian to make portal) it teleports me in null afterwards i am in the overworld but coordinates is about X 37,591
