Feed brown mushroom (red one struck by lightning) the same flower and use a bowl on it and the same thing happens.
1 you need to carry around a bunch of 1 use items which takes up atleast 4 item slots, 2 its not nearly as long or useful of an effect as potions, 3 you actually have to go find the correct flowers
there is little to 0 point of taking stew over potions
