About this video: If you want the Ultimate Starter Guide for Minecraft in 2021, look no further. This is by far the best guide on YouTube for getting started in Minecraft. Why is this? Well, while we are going to be going over getting started in game, surviving your first night, etc., this is more of a technical Minecraft channel. We show you how to get mods, start servers, run servers, etc. all in Minecraft. Because of this, we are going to be focusing on some technical items in addition the basics. This will put you out ahead when getting started with Minecraft in 2021.

First things first, we need to talk about which version of Minecraft you have. There are three versions โ€“ Java Edition, Bedrock, and Windows 10. This video will use Java Edition its PC and Mac only, but it is the most popular edition. Minecraft Bedrock is what you find on mobile devices and consoles. Minecraft Windows 10 is only for Windows 10 PC. We recommend against this version in most cases.

Once you have Minecraft, it itโ€™s time to get started. Open it up, and the from the main menu you will see a few things. If you go into options, you will be able to make Minecraft full screen, add resource packs, etc. You can find our on-depth resource pack tutorial in the description above. You also have single player and multiplayer options on the Minecraft main menu. We will start with single player. Click on it and create a new world.

Now, we need to survive our first night. Start off by punching trees to get some wood. You can the craft your basic tools. After that, dig into the ground and build a basic shelter for the night. From here, I recommend you start mining. Mine until the first night is over. On the second night, get some food by slaying animals and smelting it. You can also work on wheat farming for a more sustainable food source on the second day. Then, back to mining. If you strip mine, you can find diamonds by night two easily.

We recommend strip mining for diamonds at level 12 for less lava exposure.

Now, letโ€™s move on to multiplayer Minecraft. This is a HUGE part of Minecraft. From the main menu, click on multiplayer. Here you can add a server or direct connect to one if you have the IP. We have some videos on some great servers you can join and we join our server, BreakdownCraft, in the video. Every server is different though, so be sure to find a server that fits your play style and has the gamemodes that you enjoy playing such as SkyBlock, survival, or minigames.

And there you have it! That is the Ultimate Starter Guide to Minecraft in 2021. If you have any questions about getting started with Minecraft in 2021, let us know in the comment section below. If we did, however, help you start playing Minecraft in 2021, be sure to give the video a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel if you havenโ€™t already. It really helps us out, and it means a ton. 1. I stopped playing at like 1.8 way back when. Come back now because my brother wants to play with me, and apparently I play like a boomer. Hopefully this video will key me in on the major updates and meta changes I missed

  2. Hey!

I have a tutorial request and I wasn't sure how to get this to you another way. ๐Ÿ™‚

Basically, I have been setting up my own Smp server and I installed WorldGuard, WorldEdit, and AdvancedRegionMarket. I noticed a lack of tutorials on how those three programs integrate with one another. How to set up land and plots from A to Z using the three programs. Rather there are only tutorials on those individually.

Another, while there are tutorials on WorldEdit that cover making structures… I couldn't find any on making flat land at a certain height… I learned you need a combo of air and grass to make flat grass lands for example but I had to really search out answers. Anyways! Those are by suggestions and requests. ๐Ÿ™‚

22:05 raw salmon and then raw chicken? Man you lucky Gordon Ramsay is not watching this. Rule number 1 in the kitchen "no cross contamination" >.<
34:24 maybe for beginners its smart to explain to not instant farm those diamonds because there might be some lava beneath it?

  5. but on start there was an error. you would go for 3 white sheep so can make bed before going underground
since that can be done when dark and unsafe to be above ground.
there is also with the wood ability to make a door.
but from all that there is a chance at the start to just go and maybe find a village nearby and stay there the 1st night
you would really want to move and collect items on your way. only when starts getting dark then start the underground house.

  6. hint: before you've found coal to burn, instead of using wood, make charcoal. so, use wood to burn more wood and whalah! charcoal. it's almost as good as coal, in fact, I think it might be just as good as coal, but maybe just a little less so. let's say a piece of wood burns for 10 seconds, perhaps coal burns 60 seconds or 90 seconds? charcoal burns 45-60 seconds. so, you put wood in the bottom of the furnace AND the top of the furnace.

  7. kinda fucked up how I lost 2 of my accounts. I can't login to em anymore because of the " microsoft " update. Everybody lost their accounts because of this as well I'm guessing? Can't be just me.

  8. NEVER played it. Did play something similar called Survival Craft 1+2, still have it on the PC. However, recently I've been interested in starting to play Minecraft because why not. So Java Edition it is for me then. I do intend on Modding it later on so finding out what version would be more appropriate for that was the reason I found this channel. The processes and resources are very similar so it's not like I don't know what Minecraft is about but videos like this are always interesting to watch.
