Minecraft Viki (video wiki) ➜ https://minecraft.viki.gg
Minecraft is coming to the big screen thanks to Warner Bros Pictures! A Minecraft Movie’s teaser trailer has been released, which features Jack Black as Steve, along with four heroes as they adventure through Minecraft and search for a way back to their world. The movie looks like a complete joke, but will it be any good?

Do you think God stays in heaven because he lives in fear of what he's created here on Earth?
It look so bad I feel pity on it.
The mobs are the very reason why we cannot allow ai make art or movies.

SERIOUSLY??!?!! This would be SO much better animated, my friend sent me the trailer and I thought that it had to be fake
bro they gotta send it back to the furnace…
Somehow, I've got a feeling that the machinimas from 2015 got more quality in them than this movie…
i know it would never be made because it needs the kids appeal, but imagine a minecraft movie that captures the essence of playing the game alone
with peaceful songs, a calm place and after some time steve finds alex and the movie changes to a more energetic felling like playing minecraft with friends
I hate it
The Minecraft movie might have a chance of being success if warner brothers could look at the problems I mean I like what they do for the blocky world But a lot of people didn't i really hope
Warner brothers Can look at the problems Not the fans see So that they can fix it PS I love your channel vailskibum
The director also stated that they wanted to avoid the ugly sonic situation, let that sink in.
ok but animated realistic minecraft characters look horrifying, we should remember that from those people who created realistic steves…
Whoever thinks the humans on the Minecraft landscape look natural and the mob designs look bad don’t get why we’re mad.
I like it ngl
Remember when we used to be hyped for this movie and when that tree that was teased felt like a good sign of things to come? Yeah that was fast.
Update: I forgot about that video Vail made where they said they want to avoid an Ugly Sonic situation and that was clearly a lie.
I think the movie should of be animated Instead of live action to be honest…
If i didn't wait 10 years for this, I would've probably liked this
Who?
i wish they animated steve and the other characters like how they animated the animals and mobs
What’s the texture pack name?
This is one of those movies that should've been animated instead being live action
Movies turned into games with for ever be legendary. video games turned to movies just not the same😮
This movie has 15 producers!
2:48 I’m sorry, are those boots with wings on them? Did the writers or suits directing this movie even open up Minecraft?!?!
First time watching the trailer.

I am STEEEEEEVVVVVVVV
I have causally written a Minecraft origin story, for fun, that is 100x more interesting than this nonsense. Come on, guys, we're living in the same era as Spiderverse and Puss in Boots. How is this the ugly, soulless story we get for MINECRAFT?? Our community could collectively write a better movie, I guarantee it.
I want to get inside the minds of Steve and Alex, and explore the beautiful, atmospheric world we all adore. Think back; can you remember, dear reader, what it felt like to discover a new biome for the first time? Remember your first night, terrified in a 1×2 or running for your life? When you finally got confident at killing zombies, then turned and saw a tall, dark figure with purple eyes; its jaw unhinges, it screams like a tortured soul–your blood ran cold. Wasn't that grand?
Do you remember your first time in the Nether? Discovering your first mineshaft? The pride and accomplishment you felt when you defeated your first boss—or, taming your first wolf? Building your first house?
Remember the community? The Minecraft legends like Sparklez and SethBling? Yogscast?
What about the summer afternoons, when you were younger, spent trying to figure out if Herobrine was real? Jumping at every cave sound and staring at every geometric land structure you came across, wondering, just maybe you weren't alone. Heaven forbid we get Herobrine in a movie; that'd be TOO much fun. You know how rad that'd be? A little acknowledgement to the depth of lore and history he contributed to the community? You gotta admit he added a lot of hype to the game in the early days.
What about the fortresses and strongholds? The concept of an ancient civilization lost, and why the player is here at all. Are they aware they're in a "game" or is it "real"? They are called "Dreamer" by the end voices. The end speech– there's some great source material in there to play around with. Likening a game to a dream, and, putting the power in the hands of the player… to start from nothing… and overcome every odd… to stand victorious over a slain dragon.
This game is completely saturated in nuanced mysteries, adventure, beauty, and intrigue. So WHY are we settling on this soda-cracker cardboard plot? Piglins in the overworld, that's the best you can come up with? The same creatures that trade for useful items and mind their own business 80% of the time? And with these hideous graphics?
Minecraft doesn't have ultra realistic graphics; it never has, it never will. Yet it continues to be the best-selling game ever. Realistic graphics DO NOT EQUAL GOOD CONTENT.
I'm so disappointed and disgusted with this movie. They do not understand the target audience at all.
Do me a favor, reader: think about your favorite "kid" movies. Remember them.
The Incredibles, Monsters Inc., How to Train Your Dragon… they were kid friendly, not kid-oriented, and kids and adults love them to this day.
This movie could reach so many people. This game has reached so many people. Shouldn't this movie reflect that? Shouldn't it elicit wide-eyed wonder and elation? Shouldn't it be a mosaic of creativity? Shouldn't it tell a story… that matters, even just a little bit?

I do see this screaming a little bit of "We are not put much effort or money into making this fully animated" due to the politics of Hollywood. I don't hate this and I love Jack Black, but not a great first impression but I'll keep an open mind.
Screw the Minecraft "live-action" movie. Why the actual humans involved in the game? Those mobs remind me of Ugly Sonic. To be honest, this should be an animated version.
When the trailer music says, "Step right this way". But let's just say to the opposite, "don't go this way".
I think a lowkey semi serious survival movie would’ve been the route I would’ve taken. Like a first night in Minecraft. You just appear in this world and there’s just structures of a once populated civilization. I don’t think Minecraft as a comedy or a children’s movie is the way to go.
I Don't Hate Minecraft Teaser
But I Love Minecraft Teaser That Teaser Was Great
