  1. It sounds more like….wood gears or something wooden..which would make sense but it lacks the “mechanical” feel the previous sound had, which gave it more meaning when you hear “piston” and heard that sound.

  2. I'll be the first to critique Minecraft updates… but… I actually don't mind this one. It could be tweaked, to sound less wet, I agree – but the sound feels… more in-line with beta Minecraft sounds. And I kinda like that.

    Now, if I made a large vault-door, the sound wouldn't work whatsoever. That context requires a heavy clunking sound – but for other smaller scale, and less 'awe inspiring' builds… the quieter clockwork sound is a nice idea.
