Yo I’m trying to do free trial realm for 30 days and when I press it it tells me to buy ps plus is it basically not free since I have to buy ps plus?

When I try to buy a realm it makes me start a free trial, so I do that then it puts an error code and won't let me start the trial.

I almost completely gave up on this and just stuck to playing the PS4 edition and Java edition. But today I decided to check some things on Bedrock edition and noticed that servers and realms were there. I was so confused I had to come here to get rid of any doubts I had left lol
