It's definitely way better than the first attempt. I love the bee and the chicken, I think their designs are peak at this point. This is the best we can get at a Minecraft live action before it gets too much in any direction

Getting uncanny valley vibes from live action stuff like this is normal, only thing with what happened with Sonic is that it went from the extreme to a much more "Sonic" looking model.
In this case, it's much closer to Detective Pikachu.

I think the reason it got so much hate was because everyone thought it was supposed to be THE Minecraft movie but now I understand that it’s actually A Minecraft movie so I’m not as upset. Hopefully they make an actual movie about the game or something.

It was definitely hated too much but the green screen is soo clear and the character outfit looks like it had like 10 dollars of budget and a live action and a fully animated stuff does not fit
I think its alot more about the fact that most people who are angry have been waiting for this movie since their young childhoods and are disappointed that its just "ok." And not what fans have begged for for over a decade.
Imagine this gets season 2 bluelock treatment and people start taking back all the hate 💀💀💀
It's definitely an improvement of all time from the first one
