Let’s take a little look at what Minecraft 1.20 has in store for you. The camel has dashed, then sprinted, and then resumed dashing into Minecraft, with the speed only fitting for a creature with such toweringly tall legs. Like most mobs, you can tempt and breed it. You can also saddle it, but the twist is that since it’s so big – there’s enough space for you and a friend!

Another feature ready for you to try are the hanging signs. Using any wood type you like, you can place them beneath or on the side of blocks. I tried to write a love letter to the camel on mine, but the gentle giant doesn’t seem to know how to read. No way is it ignoring my plea for friendship!

Unfortunately for my dear camel I also can pen epic poems to it instead and store them all in the chiseled bookshelf, along with my quills and enchanted books. Good thing too, because I don’t want to be accused of being the type of writer that keeps “intellectual” “books” on display just for show. Please don’t look too closely, let’s move on instead.

The fourth and final feature in this round is the bamboo wood set. I was always fond of these beautiful trees and now I can finally make my admiration known with bamboo builds! Like other wood types, you can craft things like slabs and stairs, but bamboo also brings you mosaic blocks which are perfect for flooring, and a lovely raft.   3. So far, I like this update. It'll probably have more but I'm not against small updates. All the features in this update are ones that I know I'll use. Maybe they could use this update to get a bit closer to parity. Minecraft Java edition doesn't have those fancy cauldron capabilities that allow dying yet. An update to the wolf AI might also fit in this update.

Stealth talking about archeology, meanwhile me sitting here with a useless fletching table ;-; also i still dont see why they couldn't have just added fireflies, just have the frogs not eat them, they would have been a beautiful addition to swamps and the rest of the game, i had such idead.. Geez

    Camel? Get a Horse! Horses are a beautiful and noble breed. How many different animals do we need that spit, gross!

  10. Hope Hytale comes out…someday. I feel like Mojang needs some competition, they have a monopoly on this style of game, and it would force them and Microsoft to innovate and push the envelope. They've gotten comfortable and they're the best selling Game dev studio of all time. The game gets a free update every year.

  12. Don’t lose hope for this update. They only announced what is almost ready for snapshots. The first 1.20 snapshot is coming out on October 19, which is tomorrow. I sure hope they add archeology. However, savanna and badlands are confirmed not to be because there will be no biome overhauls.

  13. Something important to know is archaeology got scraped and is now on the idea shelf not a planned feature they said it wasn’t actually that fun so until they can think of a new way to use it it’s not gonna be used

  14. While the features are nice. Coming off what has been a pitiful year for Mojang and Minecraft this is not an exciting idea or update. They really need to get the backlog of missing features and old concepts and promises done. The mangrove swamp update shoes how little these prior biome concepts have evolved, and what did change they themselves ruined because of their pro nature belief/agenda/excuse? It's really getting to the point where the ideas folder is Mojang's version of development hell. The list of "to do later" is getting pretty up there. And this whole community inclusion thing they're trying to push is so generic after the constant failures Mojang put themselves through, this update is purely an attempt to run damage control and salvage their image.

  20. Ok … I just recorded a rant about this update and uploaded it here to my YouTube profile. I just had to do it, otherwise I would have imploded and exploded at the same time!! 💥

  21. We need a 2.5 or 3.0 speed for YouTube, so my brain can filter out all the unnecessary spoken words in these types of videos. It has become tiresome to listen to overload of unnecessary information, and since YouTuber aren’t going to work on their delivery of information, we need technology to step in instead.
