The minecraft 1.19 warden has not always looked as it does currently, nor did the Mojang team immediately go for sculk blocks! There were many different concepts for both the sculk and the warden or as it was previously called the stalker and the hollowed! Minecraft 1.19 the wild update will add the dark green sculk to the game, but previously sculk looked like bones or corruption. There was even a version inspired by trypophobia. All of the sculk blocks included the sculk catalyst and sculk veins! There were many different iterations of the minecraft warden, most of them dark and tall with a feature in their chest and large ears! There was even a prototype version made of one of the warden iterations!
