Two words my dude: Wolf Army. Leave him alone for enough time to amass 20+ wolves. If the mod has wolf armor, even better.
Build a bow up to Power V. Add as much punch and flame as you can.
Cut down trees for apples and mine as much gold as you can for golden apples, or trade with a cleric for healing/strength pots if possible.
Always wear gold in the nether so the piglins don't attack you. Brutes still will, so be careful anyway. You can trade gold ingots for some wild crap in the nether.
Look into getting a multishot crossbow and load it up with the most explosive rockets you can. It does insane damage.
Build a tower base in the middle of a water area. Potions of levitation (phantom membrane) are a good way to get up without water or ladders.
