Consider putting your base behind cobble on a spot you need to tower up at, like the side of a mountain.
For normal hide and hunt that is. No one checks behind those cobble towers used to go up the hills.

When is minecraft war coming back? It’s been 5 months!
From my experience that is NOT how people find bases. I've been obviously X-Ray raided multiple times. They really need more cheat protection on those servers. To the point that,while I like the videos…. I will not play on the servers anymore. I won't waste hours of my time to supply cheaters. I've heard the same from many others. Just giving up on hide or hunt due to it.
