  7. (Just a few) tips for Skyblock :

    – use trapdoors to break even more the line of sight of your basic mob farm, no creeper exploding this way
    – place torches next to your saplings so that they grow even at night (also prevents mobs from spawning on the dirt block)
    – get glass only with the villagers, you might regret not having sand when wanting to make a beach or something
    – You can give something to zombies to hold on their hand (not armor then) so that they don’t despawn if you don’t have name tags
    – campfires can kill your golems to automate your iron farm if you don’t have lava (longer to kill but at least you can do something else)
    – place a slab underneath dirt if you’re not a 100% sure to keep it there, watching dirt fall into the void brings too much pain in skyblock
