The first step of learning how to use texture packs in Minecraft 1.17 is actually finding texture packs to download. When you find the texture pack you want to add to Minecraft PC, click the green ‘Download’ button under the resource pack. This will take you to the texture pack’s official download page. Sadly, every resource pack has a different download process, so we can’t really cover every step of downloading resource packs. However, make sure you are downloading the 1.17 version of your texture pack. You may need to keep/save the file as well depending on your browser.

We can now move on to actually installing your texture pack in Minecraft 1.17. This isn’t too difficult. To get started, open up Minecraft 1.17 and find your way to the main menu. From the Minecraft main menu, click Options and then click Resource Packs. This is where all of your Minecraft resource packs will live. Remember you can install multiple texture packs at the same time in Minecraft 1.17.

Finally, to install texture packs in Minecraft PC 1.17, click the Open Pack Folder button in the bottom left of Minecraft. Your resource pack folder will then open.   2. The info is super helpful, however you're not shoutcasting this stuff, take a breath between words please. You're guiding people here, it does no good if they have to keep pausing after LITERTALLY 2 seconds so that you don't get too far ahead of them. Just some food for thought and some feedback.   6. I've can't believe I've logged 1000+ hours in minecraft over the years and never used custom textures or mods. This is so much easier than literally every other game I've modded. Can't wait to finally use some custom resource packs!

  27. Does anybody know what to do when u want to get optifine but the only version of forge it supports is 36.1.0 but the mods u want to play only support 35.23.3 and above? Would it still be possible to get optifine?
