  1. Well I just hope they add mangrove villages or muddy pigs from Minecraft earth to make up for it. I believe the muddy pig should have a mangrove prologue on top instead of a red tulip so it's more realistic.

  3. Yeah mangrove villages would be nice. I've been advocating for a new Forrest biome that's just made of existing stuff like spruce, Birch and pak trees but they would all be really tall because the biome is based off of the Laurentian Mixed Forrest that appears in northern USA and into Canada I think. It would Spawn GIANT beautiful lakes and the only new mob here would be LOONS and they would make loon calls that would sound reeeeaaally cool especially at night or at sunset. Also there could be cool ambiance to the Forrest that would consist of distant loon calls and bug sounds at night. The Forrest would be very dense and full of bushes and trees. Bird sounds could be heard there? Maybe even birds, blackbears and deer? Or brownbears? Certain mobs from there could Spawn outside in other biomes aswell.

  4. i mean, mc is best selling game of all time and mojang has a lot of resources from microsoft, we just expect more from them, like there are mods mabe by single person in less than a year that add more content that is well thought out and more complex than what new updates made by one of the biggest gamedev studios of all time add to the game, thats kind of nonsense

  5. It's ashame that they cancelled the birch forest revamp in minecraft 1.19 because the revamp would make the birch forest in minecraft better but at least the swamp revamp would still come in minecraft 1.19, right ?

  6. Here is the video where Mojang Studios explains why there will be no birch forest or fireflies in 1.19: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixSlQXDOvkM
Slicedlime mentions that just because the snapshot is delayed does not mean it will add big things: https://twitter.com/slicedlime/status/1524373954923798528

I feel like people are getting way to upset over the birch forest issue. I would say to not worry so much about it, the immersion of biomes will get added over time, that's not something you can do instantly in one update. I remind you of this video by the minecraft ideas academy as to why some decisions are being made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJVBNAqieDM

And now go and play some minecraft 1.19, experience the awesome new ancient cities and row your boat through the swamps to have a good time xD

  7. I don't want to put down mojang but it is important to call it out. This was minecrafts worst update, as far as delivering promises because it's compounded by missed promises from previous updates. I think the next few updates will deliver what we want but mojang needs to only promise what they can deliver and the response will be alot better… also I think everytime we have mob vot 1/2 the community wants the mob that won't be made

  8. I think the biggest problem here has been in regards to communication.

What Pixlriffs said is completely true, but all of that should have been said by Mojang instead of a random content creator. There's no way Mojang hadn't realized by now that people were expecting a birch forest update.

I felt people was much more understanding when the C&C update was announced to be split, and I think one of the reasons was that communication was much better back then.

  9. 1.17.1 and 1.18.2 and 1.19 are minor but 1.16.5 released EARLIER and was MAJOR but i understand that 1.19 stuff are Harder to make but the ancient cities are RARE and mangrove swamp is RARE and allays outposts and structures are RARE so its just like a RARE 1.18.2 update.

    Keyword: RARE

  10. Here's to hoping this is just a temporary state caused by the difficulty of caves and cliffs' world generation, and that mojang will pick up their streak of making interesting and exciting updates again soon

  11. Ain’t it sad how we have to bargain with the devs to add fireflies or the other loser biomes in “The Wild Update”.

Lots of people working at Mojang are being needlessly rude and obtuse right now, too. It seems whatever promises they made for 1.19 were tossed alongside their PR department.

  12. I think the Warden animation is too “un-Minecraft-y” in a way. Mainly the spawning/despawning animations IMO need to be severely polished. I would’ve honestly preferred them spawning randomly in the deep dark, and when you got close to one, you would go blind. I think it would be much scarier that way

  13. They changed the theme haha. Minecraft on Minecraft live: immersion and biome change
Minecraft now cuz they slacked: no we just wanted to add the swamp… and old promises ( I’m disappointed) next Minecraft live I’m expecting half of the things being removed and also just concepts
