just letting you guys know you dont need to that stuff for an outdated resource pack
just go to one on youtube that you like if they have that one in the desc then click the link and download then once it downlaods you go to minecraft then resource packs then press open pack files, then open another file app tab then on that other tab go to downloads and scroll down to today and drag the one thats in that section to your pack file then you have your resource pack. dont do this one he wants you to download optifine which inprooves your fps which is good but we want a pack not optifine
