yes, you can beat minecraft in 1.17…
i think it’d be a good idea to make these cave generations rare, rather than every cave
it’d fix the diamond issue, but also i think having these caves be EVERYWHERE makes the game feel… a little boring i guess? it takes away the wonder of yhe caves and it feels like it’d get old very fast. if they made these systems rarer, like mineshafts, it’d be first off, more exciting, but it’d also bring an element of difficulty – you’d never know when you’d pop in one. i think that’d balance it out, personally
The problem is that you are playing on a early snapshot. Most of the stuff hasn't been yet and the values haven't been changed.

Idk if it's just me or does wadzee's voice sound a bit different.
Diamonds will actually be a lot harder to find in the dark, you would’ve probably missed half of them
In ur hardcore u can make a super base in a gaint cave

Ur not supposed to have a night vision texture pack in caves so the glow lichen are there to give a bit of light

The caves look like the nether, but with stone, diorite, granite and andesite
It is still a snapshot, but I think it’d ruin the novelty of finding diamonds if they were that common

I just don’t get how he complains about how easy it is to find ores when he isn’t playing the game with the proper light levels. If he didn’t have the constant night vision I think he way have had a much harder time finding all the things he found.
