I might build that melon farm. I have a liking to melons as a building block and would happily accept them as a byproduct of an ender ender.
But if you want melons for villager trading its way more efficient to harvest the whole melons, sins you get max 7 slices but it takes 9 to get a full melon. But i prefer to just silk touch harvest them tho

I have a massive gold farm that can redirect gold ingots into a dispenser that sends the ingots into the nether where its picked up by hopper minecarts and sent into a piglan trading machine that then takes the items and funnels them back through the portal into my main storage room in my base

I usually put flowers next to saplings in my regular oak or birch farms so I can get the occasional bee nest block along with my normal yield of lumber. It's pretty nice to be able to use bee nests for things, especially when one of my goals is to make a full apiary.
